THE KENNELS
All dogs will be given a spacious, private kennel. He or she will be provided with fresh water, his or her own food, and a blanket or a bed. You are free to bring in your pet's own blanket and toys in order to make them feel at home. However, we advise you to always bring older blankets or toys as they might get damaged or lost in the wash.
Each kennel has an attached and enclosed outdoor run that enables your dog to walk around while they’re in their kennels. During the summer, your pets can use the indoor and outdoor kennel in the daytime and weather permitting.
CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE
All the kennels have in-floor heating and forced-air heating to make sure the kennel is cozy and warm during the cold winter months. The kennels are nice and cool during the summers as we have good insulation and ventilation in our buildings.
EXERCISE AND WALKS
Every outdoor kennel gives access to our big, fenced exercise yards. Your dogs will be taken for a run at least twice in the morning for 15 to 20 minutes. They will be taken on two to three exercise runs in the afternoon for 15 to 20 minutes as well. If your dog is sociable, we try to give him or her some community playtime where he or she can interact with other guests. Your dogs are never left unsupervised to ensure your dog's safety.
If your dog is antisocial, we offer one-on-one daycare services to accommodate his or her requirement.
CLEAN ENVIRONMENT
The kennels and yards are cleaned daily in order to provide a clean and fresh environment which is essential for your pet's good health. We thoroughly clean and disinfect a kennel once your dog leaves for our next guest.
VACCINATIONS
For the safety and protection of all the pets at the kennels, please ensure your dog is properly vaccinated. Proof of vaccinations must be provided at the time of boarding.
SECURITY SYSTEMS
Our facility is monitored day and night by security cameras and alarm system. We will be warned if there’s a fire, the temperature drops too low, glass is broken, or there’s any unusual movement in the dog kennel area or at the store. We live near the facilities and will be there within a few minutes if there’s an emergency. We have a veterinarian on call 24/7 as well.
FIRST TIME BOARDERS
Your dog may feel more anxious and stressed than yourself if he or she is being boarded for more than four days for the first time. We advise you to bring in your furry friend for our daycare services (trial day). He or she can experience the kennel life and interact with our staff. The reward of being picked up by you that same day will make your pet feel comfortable staying in our kennels for the longer boarding period.
FOOD
We encourage you to bring in the food your pet is accustomed to eating, to minimize stress in this new environment. If they require special food please make sure to bring enough for the duration of your pets stay. We do not require bowls as we have plenty here.
